School reopens...for some!

School will start on Wednesday, 24th June, for the approximately 500,440 students who will be sitting for the Form Five and Form Six examinations this year. The Education Minister also informed that the ministry is studying the Takwim Sekolah and will make an announcement on the changes soon.

Has the MCO created an imbalance in the education system?

Cherita Space ran a poll asking readers if the online learning method or e-learning is providing a better learning platform than the traditional systems. Respondents’ preference leaned towards a mix of both, the traditional method and e-learning. However, at least 65% of the respondents felt that the e-learning method was not yielding the desired results. Once school commences, will the lessons taught during MCO be repeated? Or will there be additional classes for students who had no access to lessons?
