Wintry Night

Deep in the wintry forest

there lies a bluebird

in its nest

It lays as still as

a tree waiting for me

Under a huge pile of

snow lives a tiny shrew

scratching silently in the

cold wintry night

Here is a wolf howling

silently in the light

The leaves sway gracefully

in the bright shining

moonlight

And here I am standing

in the middle of a

great big silver ball of light
